iMessage, except every text is a Bitcoin transaction

the liquid group chat

Two people, one public bulletin board, ~$320m of awkwardness. Only messages signed by the coins or by Blockstream’s PGP key make it in. Randoms DMing the famous address with memecoins get left on read. Forever. On chain.

    who’s even in this chat

    the bouncer

Anyone can throw dust and an OP_RETURN at a famous address. That is not a text, that is graffiti. A bubble appears only if:

    1. it spends the holder’s coins, or
    2. it spends Blockstream’s original contact UTXO, or
    3. the payload PGP-verifies in this browser against Blockstream’s published key.

Encrypted bubbles are real mail. Holder → Blockstream is PGP. Blockstream → holder is Electrum BIE1. This page shows the envelope, not the letter. There is no “view once.” There is only “view forever, still can’t read it.”
